Sumon Khan scalped five-wickets as Dhaka Davison took a 99-run lead against the Rangpur Division in the day-one of the fourth round of the National Cricket League at the Shahid Chandu Stadium, Bogra on Monday.
Sumon claimed 5-64 while Salauddin Shakil took 3 to depose Rangpur for 73 in 29.4 overs before they posted 88-0 in their second innings at stumps.
Earlier with Md Sohel Rana taking 5-25 and Ariful Haque ended with 3 wicket as Dhaka were bowled out for 84 in 32.1 overs.
In a seaming friendly surface of SCS, Dhaka’s Shuvagata Hom made a highest of 28 while other batters failed to go beyond 15 while for Rangpur not a single batsman could reach the doorstep of 20.
Abdul Mazid and Mahudul Islam Anknon remained unbeaten on 33 and 54.
In the day’s other game in BKSP, Dhaka Metro trailed Khulna Division by 46-runs after their right- arm fast bowler AKS Swadhin took 4-12 to crush Khulna for 64 in 32.2 overs.

In reply Dhaka also bundled out for a meager 118 in 39. 3 overs with Khulna off spinner Sk Mahadi taking 5-44 before Khulna suffered one more batting collapse 8-3 in their second innings at stumps.
