Rilee Rossouw struck a whirlwind hundred as South Africa scored a challenging 205 against Bangladesh in their second Super 12 game in the ICC T20 World Cup at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Thursday.
Rossouw who picked up a 30 ball-50 and 51-ball 100 finished with a 109 off 56 ball hitting seven fours and eight maximums, his second T20 ton.
Wicketkeeper batsman Qinton de Kock smacked a 38-ball 63 run to post 205-5.
In the second wicket stand the duo shared a highest partnership in T20 World Cup history putting 168.
Earlier Sri Lanka's Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara made 166 against the West Indies in 2010.
For Bangladesh Shakib Al Hasan scalped 2 and Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud, Afif Hossain took one wicket each.
Earlier the Tigers were sent to bowl as South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first.
