Fargana's maiden ton propel Bangladesh to 225-4

Bangladesh women's team opener Fargana Haque Pinky struck the maiden hundred in ODIs against their India counterparts in the third and final one-day international at the Sher-e-Bangla National stadium on Saturday.

With Fargana making 105 off 160 balls, with the help of six boundaries and Sharmin Sulatana finishing with 52 off 78 balls, guided the home side to put the second highest 225-4 in the stipulated overs.

Earlier, Bangladesh women's team saw their individual highest 75 in 50 over game by Salma Khatun against the same side 2013 in Ahmedabad.

Sneh Rana was the peak of the India bowlers scalping 2-45 while Devika Vaidya took one.

The home side went 1-0 up in the three ODIs after they secured a 40-run win in D/L method in the series opener. However India leveled it as they sealed a massive 102 run victory in the next tie.
