Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bowl first in the second Twenty20 international against their Afghanistan counterparts at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
The hosts have brought two changes as they rested Rony Talukdar and Shoriful Islam incorporating Afif Hossain and Hasan Mahmud. The former has been sidelined due to shoulder pain.
And for the visitors’ right-arm medium pacer Wafadar Momand has made his debut and would be playing in place of Fareed Ahmed.
The home side is on the verge of a considerable feat ahead of the battle; as a win in the game would guide them to clinch a straight third series win in the shortest format of cricket after they sealed a 3-0 and 2-1 series win over England and Ireland respectively early the year.
Shakib Al Hasan led Bangladesh are 1-0 up in the series after they registered a nervy two wicket win in the series opener on Friday.
