Bangladesh national women’s team is expected to play a series each against their India and Pakistan counterparts in July and October respectively.
Bangladesh Cricket Board’s women’s wing chairman Shafiul Alam Chowdury Nadel told on Tuesday that the former Asian Champions are anticipated to take on India in three one-day internationals and the similar number of Twenty20Is at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in July.
‘India are expected to compete against us in July. We are set to host the games at the SBNCS, but they haven’t made it official yet. Once they do, we will notify you all shortly,’ said Nadel.
That means the Bangladesh national women’s team would play their first ever international game at the SBNCS following an 11-year pause as they featured their last game at the home venue back in 2012 against their South African counterpart.
On the other hand, the Pakistan national women’s team is set to play three ODIs and the similar number of T20Is from the first week of October to November at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram and the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar, respectively.
