Bangladesh wicketkeeper batsman and vice-captain in the red-balo cricket Liton Kumar Das is all to set to captain the Test squad in the upcoming one-match Test series against Afghanistan.

The one off match will be played at the Sher-e- Bangla National Stadium from June 14 to 18.

It was reported that Liton was not ready to lead the side in order to concentrate on his batting however afterwards he changed his mind and now looks to toss during the lone Test against.

“He (Liton) is ready to lead the Test side against the Afghans,” said a top BCB official on request of anonymity.
