Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz said that he is all set to feature in the forthcoming one-day season of the English country league, subject to his free space and the availability of the NO Objection Certificate from the BCB.
He is considering his call-up to as a huge opportunity for the upgradation of his skills in their upcoming one-day competition starting in August.
‘It would be a great opportunity for me if I could feature in the meet. However, it depends on my future schedule. If there are no national team fixtures and the BCB issues an NOC, definitely I would be aiming to play some games for Warwickshire,’ said Mehidy on Sunday.
Given Bangladesh’s forthcoming fixtures, Mehidy is expected to be off from his national duty in August, as following their home series against Afghanistan that was scheduled to be finished on July 16, Bangladesh will have some breathing space ahead of the Asia Cup in September.
It was learned that the Tiger all-rounder managed the call in the Warwickshire set-up through his Mohammedan teammate Jack Lintott, who made his appearance in the recently concluded Dhaka Premier League.
