The approaching series between host Bangladesh and touring Afghanistan is scheduled to kick-off with the one-off Test stats at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on June 14.
According to the series itinerary notified by the Bangladesh Cricket Board on Wednesday, the visitors will arrive in Bangladesh on June 10 to take part in the full-fledged series.
However, following the red ball cricket game which is scheduled from June 14-18 at the SBNCS, the visiting side will depart for India on June 19 to feature in a series against the home side.
Afterwards, they would return to Bangladesh on July 1 following Eid ul Azha to play in the remaining part of the series that includes three one-day internationals and two Twenty20Is.
The ODIs are scheduled for July 5, 8, and 11 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.
After the conclusion of the 50 over games, both sides would move for Sylhet to vie in the two T20Is that are scheduled to be played on July 14 and 16 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
Earlier, both sides were expected to play three Tests alongside the similar number of T20Is.
However, considering Tiger’s hectic fixtures that incorporate the forthcoming Asia Cup in September followed by the ICC World Cup 2023 in October-November in India the host board has scrapped a Test and a T20I from the fixture.
