Herry Tector hit a blazing hundred that powered Ireland to a mammoth 319-6 in the rain hit second of three one-day internationals against their Bangladesh counterpart in Chelmsford on Friday.
Tector smacked a 113-ball 140 with seven fours and ten maximums, his fourth ODI ton, while George Dockrell chipped in with a 47-ball 74, guiding the home side to manage the gigantic total in 45 overs.
Hasan Mahud, Shoriful Islam each claimed two wickets, and Ebadot Hossain and Taijul Islam scalped one wicket each.
Sent to bat although the hosts lost their opening pair, Paul Sterling and Stepehen Doheny, for a duck and 12, respectively, by Mahmud inside the powerplay, however, rebounded in the match following a 104-ball 98 run stand between Andy Balbirnie and Tector in the third wicket stand.
However, the former fell to Shoriful for 42 off 57 balls.
