Ireland won the toss and opted to bowl first against their Bangladesh counterpart in the opener of the three one-day internationals at the County Cloud Ground, Chelmsford, on Tuesday.

Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal chose to play three pacers along with the similar number  of specialist spinners.

Considering making a spot in the forthcoming ICC World Cup in India, the series is really significant for the home side, as if they clean sweep the Tigers, that would pave their way to the global event.
