The Bangladesh Cricket Board is set to appoint West Indian Corey Collymore to replace Champaka Ramanayke as pace bowling coach for their High Performance (HP) unit.
The 45-year-old Carrabin is set to start his stint with the forthcoming camp of the unit starting in the later part of May in Rajshahi.
Now the Sri Lankan Champaka is expected to join the Bangladesh Tigers' development program for the players so that they are ready to respond to national team call-ups as pace bowling coach.
The camp is designed to prepare for the upcoming ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup and will run until June 28.
Former Bermudian cricketer David Hemp is all set to join the HP Unit as head coach. The coaches are expected to arrive by May 15. An Australian trainer and psychologist is expected to join the HP camp.
The fresh HP Unit is expected to be formed with 22 cricketers, while cricketers from the HP who will fail to make a cut in the squad for the Emerging Cup are expected to be drafted into the Bangladesh Tigers program that is expected to start at that point in time.
