The Bangladesh Cricket Board is set to accommodate five more sports federations on the premises of their under-construction Sheikh Hasina International Cricket Stadium in Purbachal.
BCB’s grounds committee chairman and board director Mahbub Anam told reporters on Saturday that, apart from the ground, many other facilities would be available at the country’s largest cricket venue.
‘Not only the venue, we are also going to construct an academy as well, where the BCB will have its own building. The places for the hotel would be in the drawing, a cricket club will also be there,’ said Anam following his inspection at the venue on the day.
‘The NSC [National Sports Council] has provided a list, we have allocated a fresh site according to the checklist, and the drawing will be in accordance with that.’
'We have separated their entry and exit so that it doesn’t hamper any,' he added.
