Bangladesh's most promising batsman Liton Das has returned to Bangladesh just after taking part in one game for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on the back of family reasons, notified the franchise through a media release today.
'Liton Das has had to return to Bangladesh earlier today (Friday 28 April) due to an urgent family medical emergency. Our wishes go out to him and his family to make it through this difficult time," the media release read.
The wicketkeeper batsman bagged four runs in his lone game against the Delhi Capitals.
Luton underwent severe denunciation after two mistakes behind the stumps that game. Jason Roy, who replaced Shakib Al Hasan in the KKR team, showcased rich vein of form which made it difficult for Liton to get games.
Liton was all set to join the Bangladesh team in the England for the ODIs against Ireland, however had to return early.
