Three Bangladesh campaigners Shakib Al Hasan, Afif Hossain, and Liton Das have registered for the players draft of the fourth edition of the Lanka Premier League [LPL] starting on July 30.

The players’ draft will be held on June 4, while the meet will be vying from July 30 to August 20 in two venues: Colombo and Kandy.

A total of five teams—the Galle Gladiators, Dambulla Aura, Lyca Jaffna Kings, Colombo Strikers, and Kandy Falcons are going to take part in the tournament.

Each team can include six foreign cricketers in its squad. However, if picked, Shakib, Liton, and Afif may have availability issues for the entirety of the tournament due to their national commitments.

Some of the leading players from Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, Ireland, New Zealand, and Namibia have also registered their names for the draft so far.
