The Bangladesh Cricket Board has omitted their veteran campaigners Salma Khatun and Rumana Ahmed for the three one-day internationals and the similar number of Twenty20 internationals against the Sri Lanka national women’s cricket team starting on April 29.
With the forthcoming series in mind, which is part of the ICC Women’s Championship [Edition 3], the touring board on Tuesday announced a 16-member squad.
The former Asian champions will leave Dhaka for the island nation on April 25 to encounter the series.
The ODIs are scheduled for April 29, May 2 and 4, while the T20Is will be played on May 9, 11, and 12.
