Bangladesh need 138 to win the one off Test against Ireland as Ebadot Hossain struck in the early morning of fourth day of the one-off Test that aided them to all out the hosts for 292 in the second innings at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Friday.
With Ebadot taking the remaining two wickets inside the ninth over, that handed the visitors a 137 run lead in the second innings.
The Irish made 214 all out in the first innings while Bangladesh managed 369.
The visitors resumed their innings on 286-8 with their overnight batsmen Andy McBrine and Graham Hume on 71 and 9 respectively.
However, the duo could add 1 and 5 runs more in the day's initial 35 minutes before they were bowled out.
Lorcan Tucker was the highest scorer of the tourists with 108 runs while 72 and 56 came from McBrine and Harry Tector's bat.
Taijul Islam was the standout bowller for Bangladesh claiming 4-90 while Ebadot 3, Shakib Al Hasan 2 and Shoriful Islam claimed one wicket.
