Ireland captain Andy Balbirnie has won the toss and sent Bangladesh to bowl first in the one-off Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday.
Bangladesh have opted for three pacers alongside the similar number of spinners.
However, the Irish are set to encounter the hosts with their seven debutant campaigners; Murray Commins, Harry Tector, Curtis Campher, Lorcan Tucker, Graham Hume, Ben White. PJ Moor, who has played eight Tests previously for Zimbabwe, will be making his Ireland debut in this game. This will also be White's maiden First-Class game.
