After clinching the series against world champion England Bangladesh would surely relish the opportunity to clean sweep them when they take on the visitors in the third and final T20I at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday.
Bangladesh are leading the series by 2-0 after beating the tourists by four wickets in the second tie at the same venue on Sunday.
The match will start at 3 p.m. and T Sports and GTV will televise the tie live.
To achieve the historical 3-0 win against the mighty England, the home side must stick to the early planning that they executed in the first two games.
If their batting and bowling units can repeat the same as they did until the last encounter, it wouldn’t be a onerous task to make the series difference 3-0.
Bangladesh national selector Habibul Bashar also hinted at the same to the media on Monday.
‘Of course we would be playing with the thought of winning the match. The way we are playing, if we can uphold it, that is more significant,’ he said.
‘Nothing would be better if we could win against the world champions. The way our T20I team is responding, I am very happy with it,’ he added.
When Bangladesh would be longing to sweep the world champions for the first time, then the tourists would also be craving to reduce the difference, sealing a consolation win in the series concluder.
