The Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hasan Papon said that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Chairman Richard Thompson assured them of some exchange programmes in the up coming days.
The ECB chairman arrived Bangladesh to oversee the freshly-concluded ODI series between England and Bangladesh.
'He came and told me that he will see why we are not playing England regularly,' Nazmul told reporters at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
'He wants to increase collaboration and cooperation and he assured that he will make exchange programmes in the likes of coaching, Under-19 and A team programmes,' he said.
Meanwhile, Nazmul said that a couple of players will be rested in the upcoming series against Ireland while also added that their Asia Cup team will be the one that will represent Bangladesh in the 50-over World Cup in India later this year.
