Bangladesh ‘A’ team players are set to feature in the ongoing edition of the National Cricket League after their tour to India became uncertain due to visa complications.
The visitors, dubbed BCB XI, were set to arrive in Tamil Nadu on October 9 for two four-day and three one-day matches against the hosts.
However, they couldn’t travel on time on the back of visa issues, and so they now will join in the second round of NCL, starts on October 17 in the country’s four venues.
‘We will join the NCL as we don’t know when our visa hurdle will be settled,’ said a player on condition of anonymity."
The two four-days of the tour were scheduled from October 12-15 and 19-22, respectively, at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium.
And the three one-days were scheduled to be held on October 27, 29 and 31, respectively, at the same venue.
