England batsman Moeen Ali stated that they will play an aggressive brand of cricket when they face Bangladesh in the one-day internationals, which begin on Wednesday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
The opener of the three match ODIs will get go at 12 p.m. and T Sports, GTV will televise the game live.
England has been dubbed a "devastating" team in recent years due to their attacking approach in batting, bowling, and fielding, which has led to numerous victories.
‘Yeah, for sure. We've done it all around the world. It's a different challenge and probably a different sort of plan, but the mindset is always the same, said Moeen in the pre-match press conference in Mirpur.
‘And, if somebody bowls badly on any sort of surface, you try and put them away. So yeah, we're confident, we got the players to play well here,’ he added.
Despite being world champions, England has struggled in limited-overs cricket, suffering eight defeats in their last ten ODIs.
Given the statistics who is going to be the favorite in this series?
Moeen didn’t give a straight reply but asserted that it really doesn’t matter as having campaigners like Jofra Archer, Mark Wood, and Will Jacks it is always exciting because they are quite adept at changing the complexion of a game against any side in any part of the globe.
‘It doesn't really matter who are the favourites. I think Bangladesh in their own conditions are very good. And we know that we have lost eight in the last 10 but we are also the champions of the world and have done well.’
‘Woody is here. Jofra is here and we got new guys like Will Jacks and these guys on the side as well. So very exciting to have this group of players here. And in terms of favourites, it doesn't matter until the end of the series.’
