The England national team is all set to arrive in Dhaka today to play three one day internationals and the similar number of Twenty20 internationals against the host Bangladesh starting on March 1.
According to an official of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, the visitors would land at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in two different groups.
The initial group, that consists of 16 members, will arrive at 7:30 a.m., while the remaining six members will touch down on Dhaka’s ground at 8:10 a.m.
The touring side will attend a four-day training upon their arrival prior to the commencement of the series.
They will start their buildup on Saturday at the National Cricket Academy Ground and continue until Tuesday.
The series kicks off with the ODIs, and the travelers will encounter the hosts in the series opener at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. followed by the second tie at the same venue at the same schedule on Friday.
Following the conclusion of the first two games, both teams will travel to the country’s port city, Chattogram, where they will face each other in the third and final ODI followed by the first T20I at the city’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on March 6 and 9 respectively.
After that, the series will return to Dhaka, with the sides taking on each other in the second and third T20Is at the SBNCS, Mirpur.
The T20Is are scheduled from 3 p.m. to 6:10 p.m.
