Bangladesh national team head coach Chandika Hathurusingha and pace bowling coach Allan Donald are set to arrive in Dhaka on Monday ahead of the forthcoming series against England that is scheduled to kick off on March 1.
A Bangladesh Cricket Board official told on Sunday that Donald would land on Monday at 9.15 a.m. while Hathurusingha would arrive at 10.40 p.m. on the same day.
Earlier this month, the BCB reappointed Hathurusingha as the Tigers’ head coach on a two year contract following the resignation of Russell Domingo from the role.
However, the board is yet to settle on nominating the assistant for Hathurusingha.
According to BCB cricket operations chairman Mohammad Jalal Yunus, the Tigers cricket administration, would finalise the appointment of the assistant coach after they discussed this with Hathurusingha.
The England national team is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on February 24 to face Bangladesh in three one-day internationals and the similar number of Twenty20 internationals.
The ODIs are scheduled on March 1, 3, and 6, while the T20Is will be held on March 9, 12, and 14 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium and the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram, respectively.
