Bangladesh champion cricketer Shakib Al Hasan left Dhaka for Karachi on Monday night to take part in the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League [PSL] for Peshawar Zalmi started on February 13.
Bangladesh Cricket Board cricket operations chairman Mohammad Jalal Yunus told media on Tuesday that they have issued a No Objection Certificate [NOC] for the southpaw prior to his departure.
‘We provided him the NOC on Monday night following his plea for featuring in the competition,’ said Jalal Yunus.
Shakib’s Peshawar took on the Karachi Kings on Wednesday in their tournament opener at Karachi.
