The Bangladesh Cricket Board has opted for staging a concert alongside a display of spectacular fireworks during the final day of this episode of the Bangladesh Premier League at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on February 16.
BCB chief executive officer Nizamuddin told the media on Monday that the country's eminent performers as Maksud [Dhaka[, James [Nagarboul] and Wrafaze would be performing in the grand concert.
‘We have settled on holding something additional on the final day of the BPL. The famed bands that we have, especially James, Maksud Bhai, Warfaze, we are trying to ensure their participation, ‘said the BCB CEO.
He further clarified that, considering the ongoing financial hardship across the nation, they turned down the incorporation of overseas artists in the concert.
‘Considering the current perspective of the country, it would be challenging at the moment [for overseas artists]. Aside from the concert, we will try to display the fireworks in an extensive manner.
