The England and Wales Cricket Board has rescheduled their visit to Bangladesh for three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and a similar number of Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), which begin on March 1, according to a Bangladesh Cricket Board official.
According to the original schedule that the BCB relayed in the later part of December, the visitors were set to arrive on February 20. However, as per the fresh itinerary, they would land on February 24.
'The ECB has rescheduled their arrival so that they will arrive in Dhaka on February 24 rather than February 20,'an official told this reporter on Sunday.
Meanwhile, BCB chief executive officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury told reporters that the visitors have expressed their reluctance to feature in the two warm up matches that were scheduled on February 24 and 26 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
However, the date of the matches remained unchanged.
The visiting England are scheduled to play the three ODIs on March 1, 3, and 6, while the T20Is will be played on March 9, 12, and 14 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur and the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chaattogram, respectively.
