Bangladesh's star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has denied playing in the upcoming Pakistan Super League [PSL], which begins on February 13.
'I don’t know anything about it therefore I shouldn’t comment on it as well,’ said Shakib while talking to the reporter on Thursday.
There was speculation in the country's cricket community that the ace all-rounder would compete in Pakistan's T20 franchise competition with the Lahore Qalandars.
It was further revealed that Shakib was not drafted by any franchise in this year's PSL draft. However, as the players of many teams are withdrawing their names from contention, the Qalandars signed Shakib into their side as a replacement.
