The Sylhet International Cricket Stadium is going to host the three one-day internationals between Bangladesh and Ireland of the upcoming series, which is scheduled to start in the middle of March.
Following the ODIs, the home side will also feature in three T20Is against the touring side, followed by a one-off at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram, and Sher-e-Bangladesh National Stadium, Mirpur.
'Yes, we are going to host the three ODIs at the SICS. The teams would be staying at the Grand Sylhet hotel in the city, and we are fully prepared for that, said Shafiul Alam Chowdhury, the representative from Sylhet Division and also the women’s wing chairman for the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
As per the draft itinerary, the ODIs are scheduled on March 18, 20, and 23 at the SICS, while the T20Is will be played on March 26, 28, and 30 at the ZACS.
The one off Test will be held at the SBNCS from April 4–8.
