Julian Calefato, Bangladesh's former national team physio, is set to return to his former office soon, but this time as the head of the Bangladesh Cricket Board's rehabilitation center.

Earlier, BCB president Nazmul Hassan announced that they were planning to set up a rehabilitation center to oversee injured cricketers so that they could recover from their respective injuries.

"We (BCB) have appointed Julian as the head of our rehabilitation center, which we will open to ensure the smooth recovery of our injured cricketers," said BCB Cricket Operation Chairman Jalal Yunus.

Along with Julian, the other physios on the board will work to keep the rehab center running smoothly.

Calefato was previously appointed as the national team physiotherapist by the BCB in August 2019, and he worked until the end of his contract in November 2021.
