BPL to be televised in 15 countries

The ninth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League, which begins on Friday, will be televised on fifteen overseas TV channels in addition to ICC TV.

Khandaker Almagir, the chief executive officer of Impress Matra consortium, confirmed on Thursday that apart from Nagarik TV, as a local media partner, Discovery, Euro Sports, GEO TV, PTV, ESPN, Clineblitz IM HD, and Sportsmax would also televise BPL in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, the United States of America, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, the West Indies, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Africa.

Simultaneously, fans would also be able to watch the games on OTT platforms like DARAZ Live, Fan Code.

Previously, the Bangladesh Cricket Board named Ispahani as the title sponsor and Minister Group as the powering company for the ninth edition of Bangladesh.
