Former Sri Lanka legendary pacer and also the head coach of Dhaka Dominators is thrilled to work with the Bangladesh national team duo Soumya Sarker, Taskin Ahmed in the forthcoming edition of Bangladesh Premier league.

The T20 franchise competition is scheduled to be held from January 5 to February 16 in Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet.

The 48-year-old veteran coach also revealed that his charges are desperate to give their best in the tournament.

‘We have a few good campaigners like Taskin Ahmed, Somya Sarker, and others with whom I am waiting to start the edition. The boys are hungry for a good start.’

Lauding Shoriful's performance, the ex-Lankan pacer additionally added that the former has a lot more to give for the Bangladesh national team.

I have seen Shoiful play for Bangladesh. He is very young and promising. He has ample to give for Bangladesh cricket.’

‘I believe that I would be able to do some quality work with him that would eventually be instrumental for the country’s cricket.’
