The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Thursday announced a 16-member squad of the Bangladesh U-19 Women’s team for the approaching U-19 Women’s World Cup begins in South Africa on January 14.
The team will leave for Johannesburg on January 1 and will have a preparatory camp alongside playing in some practice matches prior to the start of the global event.
In a statement the BCB women's wing selector Monjurul Islam said that, ‘we have selected a squad that has been together for the past two years and therefore, there is excellent team spirit and understanding."
‘I am confident that this team will be very competitive in the first ever Under 19 World Cup for women.’
