Bangladesh batsman Liton Das surpassed India superstar Virat Kohli in the MRF Tyres ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings as he moved to 12th place overall, which is the best ever ranking for any Bangladeshi batsman, while the latter slipped to 14th position.
Liton who made a valuable 7 run, aided the home side to manage 231 runs in the second innings against the touring India that handed them a challenging 145 lead.
