India all-out for 314 in first innings

Shakib Al Hasan and Taijul Islam scalped four wickets each to all-out India for 314 that trailing Bangladesh by 87 runs in the first innings on the second day of the second and final Test against India at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Friday.   

Shakib took 4-79 while Taijul claimed 4-74 to bundle out the visitors with nine overs to go at stumps.

Earlier Bangladesh were all-out for 227 in their first innings 

India resumed the innings on 19-0 with their overnight batsmen Lokesh Rahul and Shubman Gill who remained unbeaten on 3 and 14 runs respectively.

However, the duo could add 8 runs more before Rahul fell for 10 by Taijul.

Later the left arm spinner picked up Subhman and Pujara for 20 and 24 runs respectively to reduce the tourists to 86-3 at lunch and also fought the hosts back in the game.

In the post lunch session Taskin Ahmed claimed Virat Kohli after the latter gave a catch to Nurul Hasan behind the stumps for 24.

Then in the fifth wicket stand Rishabh Pant and Sreyas Iyer shared a crucial 159-run to curb the early damage before the former was removed for 93 by Mehidy Hasan Miraz in 67.5 overs followed by Axar Patel on 4 by Shakib.

Just five overs later Iyer followed the footfall of Pant for 87 by the same bowler to leave the side to 271-7.

Later Shakib and Taijul claimed Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Siraj for 14 each and 7 to bundle them out in 86.3 overs.
