Bangladesh 82-2 at lunch against India

Ravichandran Ashwin and Jaydev Unadkat struck in the early session of the day-one play of the second and final Test that aided them to remove Bangladesh's opening stand at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Thursday.

With Ashwin and Unadkat scalping one wicket each the hosts were reduced to 82-2 at lunch.

Shakib Al Hasan and Mominul Haque stood on 16 and 23 -runs respectively.

Batting first, although Bangladesh made a decent start however their opener Zakir Hasan survived a catch drop on 2 by Umesh Yadav at fine leg in 1.1 overs.

Then, he alongside his partner Najmul Hossain Shanto went untroubled until the day’s first drink on 37-0.

However, the pair couldn’t endure the rhythm after Zakir who struck his maiden hundred in the series opener in Chattogram, was fell to Unadkat for 15 in 14.5 overs, who made his return to the visiting side following a 12 year-long pause.
