The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Sunday announced a 15-man squad for the second and final Test against India starts at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on December 22.
The selection panel dropped Anamul Haque Bijoy and Ebadot Hossain who earlier included in the series opener.
A BCB official confirmed that Ebadot was axed due to a back muscle strain that he suffered during the first Test at Chattogram.
However, Bangladesh veteran opener Tamim Iqbal was also omitted in the squad on the back of his groin injury.
