Touring India avoided a clean sweep against Bangladesh in the three-match ODIs after Ishan Kishan hit the fastest one-day double hundred that aided them to seal a crashing 227-run victory over the hosts in the series concluder at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram on Saturday.
Ishan who finished with a towering 131-ball 210 alongside a swirling 113 off 91-ball from Virat Kohli, guided the visitors to manage a daunting 409-8, their highest against Bangladesh in the brief version of cricket.
In reply, with Shakib Al Hasan and Liton Das making a 43-ball 50 and a 26-ball 29 respectively Bangladesh reached 182 runs before they were all-out.
Thus the visitors lessened the series difference by 2-1.
Shardul Thakur was the pick among the Indian bowlers scalping 3-26 while Axar Patel, Umran Malik claimed 2 each and Mohammed Siraj , Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar took one wicket each.

Pursuing a mammoth 410, Bangladesh lost their top three batsmen Anamul Haque Bijoy, Liton Das and Mushfiqur Rahim for 73.
In the third wicket Yasir Ali Chowdhury and Shakib formed a 34-run stand before the latter was removed for a 30-ball 25.
Later, banking Shakib’s 43 and a 26-ball 33 in the tenth wicket stand between Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed who made a 17-ball 13 and unbeaten 17 off 16 balls helped the Tigers to surpass the hundred and fifty threshold.
