Mukesh Kumar finished with his career best 6-40 in first class cricket as India ‘A’ team bundled out Bangladesh ‘A’ for 252 on the opening day of the second and final unofficial Test at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
However, the visiting side is now trailing by 241 runs as their opener duo Yashasvi Jaiswal and Abhimanyu Eashwaran remained unbeaten on 8 and 3-run respectively to post 11 in 4 overs, at stumps.
Sent to bat, the home side lost their top two batsmen for 36.
In the second wicket stand Zakir Hasan and Mominul added 42-runs to curve the early loss before the latter was removed for 15.
Later banking on Zakir Hasan’s 46, Shahadat Hossain’ 80 and Jaker Ali’s 62 the hosts managed a moderate 252 in 80.5 overs.
Aside from Mukesh Umesh, Yadav and Jaynat Yadav took two wickets each.
