Amelia stood on 46 off 30 balls while Maddy remained unbeaten on a 25-ball 37 to manage 148-4.
Marufa Akter was the pick among the bowlers, scalping 2-22, and Ritu Moni, Rumana Ahmed took one wicket each.
In reply, the tourists were restricted to 118-8 in the stipulated overs, with skipper Nigar Sultana making 31 off 33 balls.
Hayley Jensen was the standout bowler for the hosts, claiming 2-12 while Fran Jonas, Lea Tahuhu and Eden Carson picked up one wicket each.
Batting first, the Kiwi women's team got off to a shaky start, losing their top two batters for a staggering 29 runs, but they were able to overcome their early woes with Suzie Bates and Rebecca Burn forming a 30-run stand in the third wicket stand.
Suzie was removed by Rumana, while Ritu Moni removed Rebecca for 20 runs each to leave the side at 71-4.
In the next stand, Amelia and Maddy added a towering 49-ball 77 to amass 148-4.
Pursuing a challenging 149, riding on Nigar’s 31 and Sharmin Akter’s 22, the former Asian champions could post 118.
