Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasana and paceman Ebadot Hossain concluded with their career best bowling spells that guided Bangladesh to bundle out India for a modest 186 in the first of the three ODIs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Sunday.
Shakib took 5-36 while Ebadot picked up 4-47.
Lokesh Rahul scored a highest 70-ball 73 but the others failed to go beyond 30.
Sent to bat, India made a staggering start with Shakib removing Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for 27 and 9 respectively that lessened them to 49-3 in 10.4 overs.
The southpaw then scalped Wshington Sundar, Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar to land his milestone in the ODIs.
Lokesh Rahul-Sreyas Iyer and Lokesh-Washington Sundar formed a 43 and 60 run partnership in the fourth and fifth wicket stand to pull the tourists to 186 before they were bundled out in 41.2 overs, their second lowest against Bangladesh.
Earlier the visiting side were deposed to the Tigers on 105 at the same venue back in 2014.
