India captain Rohit Sharma believes that more Bangladeshis should get a chance in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.
Six Bangladeshi cricketers have registered for the upcoming IPL auction, that includes; Shakib al Hasan, Shoriful Islam, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Afif Hossain, and Liton Das, while Mustafizur Rahman has been retained by the Delhi Capitals.
‘I hope so. I really hope they get a chance because they are a quality team, with quality players. They can make a difference in an IPL team,' said Rohit during the pre-opening ODI press conference in Mirpur.
‘All the IPL teams have probably not started to plan yet, that’s my assumption. Closer to the auction, they will start planning and thinking about what they want to do. But I genuinely feel they should get a chance,’ he added.
