Bangladesh national women’s team is scheduled to start their ICC T20 World Cup campaign 2023 on February 12 against Sri Lanka in Cape Town, South Africa, revealed ICC in a press release on Monday.
The defending Asia Cup champions have been slated in group A alongside the other three counterparts; Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
In their second battle Nigar and her troops will face Australia on February 14 in ST Georges Park while they will be playing against New Zealand and South Africa on February 17, 21 respectively in Cape Town.
The top 10 teams in the world will begin their bid for the ultimate prize in T20 cricket when South Africa take on Sri Lanka in the opening match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup at Newlands on 10 February, as the match schedule for the biggest ever women’s sporting event in Africa was announced.
