The Bangladesh Cricket Board is all set to hold the players draft for the approaching Bangladesh Premier League on Wednesday.

The auction is scheduled to take place in a city’s hotel at 11:30 am.

Meanwhile the BCB has revealed the list of the local campaigners  who have been graded in category ‘A’ and ‘B’ of the draft alongside the price for the respective seven categories.

According to the draft Bangladesh senior campaigner trio Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah and Liton Das  have been graded in ‘A’ while Mohammad Saifuddin, Mosaddek Hossain have been listed in the ‘B’ category.

Aside from the latter duo Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Imrul Kayes, Mahedi Hasan and Nasum Ahmed also have been listed in the category ‘B.’

Meanwhile the BPL governing council has settled the price for the players from the seven categories.

Campaigners from category A would be paid Tk 80 lac while B, C, D, E, F, G players would be handed Tk 50, 30, 20, 15, 10 and 5 lac respectively.

Earlier the respective franchises have picked up their local direct signing players for the approaching tournament.

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will play for Fortune Barishal while Tamim Iqbal and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza would be featuring in the outfit of Khulna Tigers and Sylhet Strikers respectively.

Apart from the Tiger Fantastic Trio, left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman will appear for the Comilla Victorians. 

And his fellow national team colleague, Taskin Ahmed, has been signed by Dhaka. 

Afif Hossain has been picked up by the Chattogram Challengers, while Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan will be playing for the Rangpur Riders. 

 The ninth version of BPL is scheduled to be held from January 5 to February 16.
