Bangladesh senior campaigner duo Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah and their fellow colleague Liton Das  have been graded in A while, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mosaddek Hossain have been listed in the B category of the players draft of the next edition of Bangladesh Premier League.   

Aside from the latter duo Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Imrul Kayes, Mahedi Hasan and Nasum Ahmed also have been listed in the category B.

The ninth version of BPL is scheduled to start on January 5, and the players’ draft of the country’s lone T20 franchise competition will be held on November 23 in a city’s hotel.

Meanwhile the BPL governing council has settled the price for the players from the seven categories.

Campaigners from category A would be paid Tk 80 lac while B, C, D, E, F, G players would be handed Tk 50, 30, 20, 15, 10 and 5 lac respectively.

Earlier the respective franchises have picked up their local direct signing players for the approaching tournament.

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will play for Fortune Barishal while Tamim Iqbal and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza would be featuring in the outfit of Khulna Tigers and Sylhet Strikers respectively.

Apart from the Tiger Fantastic Trio, left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman will appear for the Comilla Victorians. 

And his fellow national team colleague, Taskin Ahmed, has been signed by Dhaka. 

Meanwhile, Afif Hossain has been picked up by the Chattogram Challengers, while Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan will be playing for the Rangpur Riders.
