Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will play for Fortune Barishal while Tamim Iqbal and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza would be featuring in the outfit of Khulna Tigers and Sylhet Strikers respectively in the approaching Bangladesh Premier League starts on January 5.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Saturday revealed the names of local direct signing players for the ninth edition of BPL.

Apart from the Tiger Fantastic Trio, left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman will appear for the Comilla Victorians. 

And his fellow national team colleague, Taskin Ahmed, has been signed by Dhaka. 

Meanwhile, Afif Hossain has been picked up by the Chattogram Challengers, while Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan will be playing for the Rangpur Riders. 

The forthcoming version of the country's lone T20 franchise tournament is scheduled from January 5 to February 16. 

The players' draft of the contention will take place on November 26.
