Bangladesh ODI and Test team head coach Russell Domingo survived a massive fright as he tested negative in the dengue test on Saturday.
A BCB official confirmed that the South African coach has been suffering from viral fever on the back of his jet lag.
'He (Domingo) was tested negative in dengue test that we conducted Saturday. we feel he is carrying the fever due to his jet lag,' he said.
Following a countless speculations eventually Domingo joined his work place on November 14 ahead of the forthcoming series against India starts on December 4.
Domingo went to Bangladesh Cricket Board on November 15 to have a look at Tamim Iqbal and others who were attending personal training sessions at the center wicket of the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
However, he missed his scheduled visit to BKSP on November 16 to witness a game of National Cricket League, country’s traditional first-class tournament, due to having fever.
Although Domingo arrived as per the scheduled time, simultaneously his colleagues Allan Donald alongside other coaching staff are expected to arrive on November 26.
