Chattogram Division was relegated to the Tier-2 of National Cricket League while Dhaka Metro promoted to the Tier-1 of the country’s top-level first-class tournament after the conclusion of the 25th edition.
According to the points table of eight teams in contention, Chattogram, who featured in six games, could manage a lone victory while losing in two and drawing in the similar number of games that demoted them to the bottom of the Tier-1 points table.
Conversely, Dhaka, who appeared in the six ties secured four wins alongside two losses that led them to the top of the points table, bagging 34 points.
Meanwhile, Rangpur Division has sealed their second NCL title on the third day of the competition, handing Sylhet a five-wicket defeat.
