Bangladesh batting consultant Jamie Siddons is likely to be unavailable during the forthcoming home series against India starting on December 4.
It was learned that the Australian coach wouldn’t be able to manage his time while the series that includes three one-day internationals and two Tests.
Seeking anonymity, a board official said that they are not satisfied with the Aussie man, therefore they are looking for a new batting consultant.
Siddons started his second stint with the Tigers back in February of this year, after the board removed former South African batting coach Neil McKenzie.
The 57-year-old hit the road with the Bangladesh Cricket Board initially as a batting consultant for the national team back in 2007, signing a four-year contract that concluded with annoyance following the disastrous end of the Tigers in the ICC World Cup 2011.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo joined his workplace on November 14, while Allan Donald and Rangana Hearath are expected to arrive Dhaka on November 26.
