Bangladesh one-day skipper Tamim Iqbal is expected to attend the Brazil-Serbia match of the approaching FIFA World Cup in Qatar on November 25 therefore he is going to miss the last round of the Bangladesh Cricket League.
The tenth edition of BCL is scheduled to start in the next week with the limited-over version.
‘He (Tamim) is not available in our last round match of BCL,’ ann Islami Bank East official told the media.
Meanwhile the Bangladesh Cricket Board held the players’ draft of BCL on Tuesday with retaining Tamim, Mushfiqur Rahim, Afif Hossain, Yasir Ali Chowdhury.
The tenth edition of BCL is scheduled to be held from November 20 to 27.
The league phase games that are scheduled to be held at the BKSP Ground 3, 4 will start at 9 am followed by the final at 12:30 pm at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
