Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a strong High Performance (HP) team for visiting Australia where they will face off a number of teams in three formats of cricket.
The BCB included national players like Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Afif Hossain and Mahmudul Hasan Joy for this month long tour as they haven't been in cricket at this moment.
Not only that, Afif Hossain, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Sadman Islam, who have tasted international cricket for a long time, are in with HP, the likes of Shahadat Hossain Dipu is also with them as their travel companion.
HP team will play two four-day matches, three one-day matches and six T20 matches in this tour in Australia.
Bangladesh HP will play two four-day matches against Pakistan Shaheens and one-day matches against Northern Territory.
However they will face Pakistan Shaheens and several teams from Big Bash in T20 tournament where the cricketers will get a chance to play six matches apart from the semi-final and final. If they play semi-final and final, they matches will increase by two more.
Mahmudul Hasan Joy will be the captain in the four-day match. Shahadat Hossain Dipu will be his deputy. Afif Hussain will captain the ODI and T20 teams. The HP team will leave the country for Australia on July 13.
